Another one bites the dust

Friday, at 5:24p.m., my oldest brother was pronounced married!! He is the first of five children to get married, and he was a few days shy of 30 (four days to be exact). The ceremony, which was performed by an LDS Bishop, lasted less than 10 minutes (I would daresay it lasted around 5). Most of the family was there (minus a brother and some cousins), and even some friends that I haven't seen since we lived in Chico, California. I haven't lived there in about 11 years, so it's been awhile. It was nice seeing my brother and his new wife so happy, and it was great visiting with family. I haven't seen most of them since I left for D.C. for the summer. I even got to see some family friends for the first time in several years (The sad thing is that they live in Salt Lake City). It was a beautiful ceremony, beautiful day (it started sprinkling as we were cleaning up), and I was grateful for the stress to be over. You wouldn't think I would have anything to be stressed about, but it's weird thinking one of my siblings is married. And I had to drive down to American Fork for the wedding from Logan. I got off work late, and I was worried I was going to be late to my brother's wedding! I got there probably about ten minutes before the ceremony started, but I was planning on being there almost an hour before it started. Yuck for being so busy with school, and not having time to pack the night before! When I get home, I'll make sure to post some of the pictures.
