Work

This past week it's been really hard for me to get to work. I've read a biography on George Dewey, and last week I started reading his autobiography. Needless to say I'm a little Dewey'd out. I didn't read all of the biography, there's not a whole lot of information about Manila and the celebrations afterward. He focused more on the fifty years before that, go figure. Anyway, the other downside, or plus depending on how you look at it, is both my supervisors were gone last week. I was not very productive, and I got addicted to a computer game. It's called Sweet Tooth 2, which is very similar to Bejeweled. There are at least five levels, and I can barely beat it on level 5, and I sometimes have to redo one of the levels (there are 3), and I love the assortment of candy, and watching the little tooth eating the candy, or getting sick because I'm not giving him enough. Because I'm bored of Dewey I didn't read the entire book, only the parts about Manila and after (which was maybe four chapters). I probably wasted at least 5 hours of work time, if not more, playing the game. Since I have to get the text for my exhibit in today, I'm sure I'll be back to doing normal work tomorrow. That makes me happy and sad at the same time, and I will probably play that stupid game at least once a day to break the monotony.
