For Halloween I watched two "scary movies" while eating chinese food with a friend. The movies didn't scare me, which most scary movies can't do anymore. But the food was good (hmmm Maple Garden!), the company was stellar, and Kent and I spent a lot of the first movie talking to the screen. Yes, I can really get into movies where I talk to characters that can't hear me, nor is there any way to change the outcome. Doesn't mean I'll stop though, because it's fun talking to the screen. (I still talk to people who can respond if anyone is worried about that.) I didn't dress up this year because I didn't have time to think up a costume, so if anybody asked, I was a walking bruise (I wore all black and blue on Friday). Maybe next year I'll get more into the halloween spirit, and by then I'll be done with school so it's a good possibility.
Saturday I slept in till I woke up naturally, as usual. I should have spent the morning doing homework and research, but Saturday is normally my day to catch up on shows I missed during the week. All I have to say is OH MY GOSH!!! House was more intense for me than Heroes, and they do a fabulous job of keeping you guessing. In the House episode something unexpected happened, and I'm wondering if it's going to change some of the character roles. Saturday wasn't all about shows though. I did my Latin homework, which took a little longer than expected because I watched Sleeping Beauty for the last half of translating. I also went out to dinner with Katie, Adam (her friend), and several other people somehow associated with them. It was fun, although there was a crazy guy there who turns out is in my ward. Lucky me, right?!? So church should be interesting from now on . . . but it seemed like he was there with someone, so I don't have to worry about him asking me out or anything.
I have an amazing amount of leftovers. I have leftovers from the Black Pearl (whose Lo Mein is fabulous!!), Maple Garden (Szechuan, mmmmm!!), and Olive Garden (mine and Katie's!). I should be set for meals for the next few days, which makes me excited! Of course, I won't have to worry about dinner tonight because I'm going down to Herriman for an extended family dinner on my mom's side. Speaking of my mom, my parents are officially back in Utah!! When I want to see my parents, I only have to drive less than two hours to see them!! I'm very excited about this, especially since this means I could have my mother's lasagna more often than once a year, or every other year!! There are other perks, such as seeing them and whatnot, but still, you haven't lived if you've never tried my mom's lasagna, or cheesecake, or apple kuchen, or . . . . you get the picture. Anyway, lots of excitement.

Oh I miss scary movie night! But I think the walking bruise is perfect for you... although you seem to wear it most of the year! And I am glad to hear your family is now in Utah. Maybe if you get a chance while your down visiting them we could get together!
Hey, Kandice, you don't have to, but I am tagging you. Check my blog for the "rules" if you want to do it.
