Exercise
I am so proud of myself. Last week, when I cleaned out my storage unit, I finally took my bike in to be tuned-up and fixed. The place I took it to told me I needed a lot of work done, but if I'm just a casual rider it won't cost as much! I love small, local shops! I finally picked it up on yesterday (but it's been done since Tuesday), and since getting it in and out of my vehicle was such a difficulty, I decided to just walk to the bike store and ride it back. I should warn you that I haven't ridden a bicycle in about four years. I'm happy to say that the old saying is correct, and other than a little shaky start, I do remember how to work a bicycle. When I picked up the bike I realized something, I haven't ridden my bike in four years, and my house is roughly 12 blocks away. I actually had to stop twice because my thighs were hurting so bad. By the time I got home, it had taken me 20 minutes to get there! I don't know what the average time is, but I am very proud of myself. Now that I have it fixed, I'm looking forward to doing some exercising to get back in shape, and I may even ride my bike to school! But I'm not promising anything. . .
