Life and TSO

Happy Stuffing Day!! In my family, the exciting thing about the holiday is stuffing, except for one brother who doesn't like it and LOVES the real mashed potatoes. We love stuffing so much (my mom has a FABULOUS recipe), that my mom has to quadruple or quintuple the recipe to make enough. Sadly, even with all that, the stuffing only lasts a couple of days.
Life is pretty much the same. I spend my days reading, watching TV, job hunting on occasion, and that's pretty much it. Last week I got to catch up with a friend that I haven't seen since before I moved to West Jordan, and she lives in Daybreak . . so, it's kind of sad that it's taken so long to catch up, of course she's had a crisis or two.
Last night I got to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra with my siblings and spouses. I actually broke out the Christmas music so I could listen to them before the big event, and that's the ONLY reason I listened to Christmas music before Thanksgiving was over. I won't even let my mom listen to it if I'm in the room b/c I think Thanksgiving gets gipped and forgotten by Christmas, and it's much too soon to listen to or decorate for Christmas. Anyway, the concert was fabulous. The main reason I went was b/c I heard the light show was awesome, and it was. Sometimes the music was slow, and I almost fell asleep (one of my brothers actually dozed off for awhile), but as a whole it was AWWEESSSOOMMMMEEEE!! The music was great, the musicians were crazy and entertaining, the singing was good, and there was fire!! I even remembered to take pictures. I got a little over three hours of TSO, and it was well -spent evening.
