Yesterday I decided to do something productive with my day. Okay, I was really only productive with my evening, but I think it's progress! I kind of took over the spare room downstairs with all of my boxes strewn all over the place. I decided that I was going to go through everything again to see if I really want what I have. I didn't really go through that many boxes, mostly b/c most of them were taped, and I knew what was in them. I don't have as many boxes as I thought I did. I went through my cd's, and took the ones I didn't want to Graywhale to sell them. I'm kind of lazy, and I was lucky enough to get a guy that was willing to buy everything. Of course, out of the twenty cd's I took, I only got a little over $8. If it's the same as the last time I went, I got $5 for The Carpenter's Greatest Hits two cd set. I didn't really care, b/c I doubt if I went to Hastings (the closest being in Ogden) I would get much more than that.
I finally got rid of my two biggest boxes, and moved everything into smaller boxes, which was nice. I have about 5 or 6 pictures not in a box, but until I move I'm not going to worry about it b/c the pictures are all of different sizes, and finding the right box would be a pain. Sometime during the last week, I finally got my room more organized, and the stuff that wasn't mine that was in the way was taken out. I'm trying to decide if I want to make the room more mine by putting up different pictures, especially since I have a lot to choose from (that aren't in a box anyway). By the end of the night, I only had a grocery bag full of a couple of clothes I definitely don't want, and several stuffed animals.
I also managed to check online, and my government money came through. The leftovers will be enough to cover the cost of books. If I manage to get everything in for FAFSA early enough, I might get more money for the school year, which would be nice considering I don't think I made that much money last year. I also found out that the school doesn't do a special in state tuition for summer semester, so I have to decide of I want to get done faster, or just take normal time so I don't wear myself out too much. I guess we'll see how this semester goes. But I really don't want to pay $1000 for two or three credits when I could just take the class during regular terms.
My goal for today: work out at home (my sister is in the process of moving, so she doesn't have the time or energy to go to the gym right now) and sign up with another temp agency that will hopefully have more work for me than the one I'm currently signed up with.
