Last Tuesday I had an interview at Wellsfargo that went pretty well. It's a full time teller position over in Ft Union/Murray area. I think I made a decent enough impression, but it's been awhile since I've had cashiering experience, and no banking experience. I was told the job was 50% sales, 50% telling/banking. I have never really had a desire to be in sales, and I don't know what kind of impression I made. But if I get the job I should hear something by the end of the week.
The real misadventure was yesterday. I had an interview at SLCC for a circulation position at the library. I really want this job, I've been wanting a library job for awhile now, but there have only been a couple for me to apply. Well, I got called before Christmas for an interview, and while I wrote down the information correctly, I remembered the interview being on a Tuesday. Well yesterday, 40 minutes before my interview, I realized when it was. I should have just quickly gotten ready and left, I would have made it on time. Instead, I call and tell them I thought my interview was today, and got to my interview an hour late. My interview went well, I didn't stutter too much, or say too many "um"s or "oh"s. If they don't hold the fact that I was an hour late against me, I have a decent chance of getting the job. There were three other people interviewed, and they should be making a choice sometime today. Hopefully I'll get the call, but I'm too worried about the fact that I was late and forgot which day the interview was for them to want to consider me. I checked online and the position hasn't been filled yet, so keep your fingers crossed for me!
