Productive Week

This week has been productive for me thus far, and it's only Wednesday! I had a job interview Monday, and I haven't heard back yet, so I'm guessing I didn't make it for round two. I had signed up with SOS Staffing last week, and they called me in this week for an interview, filling out paperwork, and the always fun drug test. While I didn't get the job I originally applied for, I do have a Temp-to-Hire position that starts tomorrow. The job is working a customer service rep, whose sole purpose is to help people/companies request medical files.
I will have training for 3-5 days, and if they like me after 30 days, they'll keep me. It's full time, I get weekends off, decent pay, and I will be off by 5pm during training and 4:30pm after training. This of course means that I actually have to get up in the mornings again, which won't be my favorite part. But as long as I'm working for SOS, I'll get paid weekly, which will be nice. The lady who interviewed me told me her brother and husband work there, and so far they like it (they've been there for approximately a month). The downside to the job is that b/c I'll be dealing with medical records I won't be able to have my phone with me (I'll get a locker), and I'll only get a 30 minute lunch. I don't know what's around the place where I'm working, and I have no idea what the cafeteria is like, so the first couple days should prove interesting, food wise. I hope they'll let me have my water bottle, especially if I'm going to be talking on the phone all day.
I "started" school today, which is to say that I logged on to Black Board and looked at what my teachers have posted. One teacher hasn't posted anything for the class, which worries me. The other teachers have given me a time schedule for what the semester is going to look like, and I'm waiting for three books to show up. In one class, I have a lot of reading to do, so hopefully I'll be able to do school part time and work full time (normally it's the opposite for me). I've always done better with lectures, and since I'll only get lectures twice for each class, it will be interesting to see how I manage this class style.
Wish me luck with school and work!!
