Job happiness!

I filled out paper work for the SLCC (Salt Lake Community College) library job on Thursday and started training on Friday. It's nice to be back in the work force again. The people I work with are really nice and willing to help. I got a crash course on pretty much everything, which is a lot to take in for one day. I also learned something new about the Dewey Decimal System, which was surprising, but it helped me understand something. I even got to help out in media center, which circulation doesn't do, and I learned about that too. I even got to set up a projector, which I did right on my first try. I also got a crash course on the things that could go wrong, or why the person requesting the projector might not be able to get it to work right.
I also got a call on Thursday from the Weber County Library System to fill out paperwork for the substitute position. They want everything cleared by the pay period beginning in the middle of June to start training. I filled out the paperwork on Friday after work. I don't know when they'll do the training, but hopefully it doesn't coincide with work or school. I mentioned my work schedule when they called about the paperwork, but I forgot to mention it when I went up to fill out the paper work. Hopefully I'll be able to fit it in my schedule. The pay is good, so hopefully everything will work out. It's nice that everything finally fell into place!
