So it's Thursday night, and I have done with my classes. I had a essay and test on Wednesday, and a capstone, literature review, and final exam today. Since I am the master procrastinator, almost everything was down to the last wire. I was late to my final today because I finished my capstone a half hour before the test. I still had to get dressed, get to school, and print off my paper. I ended up being five or ten minutes late, which frustrates me now, because there was so much more I could have written if it weren't for the time constraint. The professor didn't let us go over time, which isn't surprising considering it's Damen. But the test wasn't stressful, and it was kind of fun. Yes, I'm okay, I'm not going all loopy from the lack of sleep and the monster cramming I've been doing. There was a slide show, and that somehow made things enjoyable. I was also making faces at the TA, who has been in my Latin class for the last 2 1/2 years, which probably helped too.
Anyway, I didn't stress over either of the tests. I mean, I did stress, but once I had it in front of me, it didn't seem so bad. I didn't want to cry when I saw my Latin test, so that's positive. Luckily I got my Ovid paper back the day of the test, and I got a B!!! I have been so worried about whether or not I'm going to pass the class, but that score really lifted my spirits. I'm doing well on attendance, and my professor will use my highest score for both tests! So long as I at least get a C I'll be happy. He's also very conscientious about getting things graded quickly, so I'm hoping he'll have grades posted tomorrow, or Monday at the latest.
All in all, it was a crazy semester, but I think it went rather well. I should pass all of my classes, and I actually learned a lot this semester. And when I went to talk to my Interpersonal Communications professor, she told me I was a joy to have in the class because I have a better sense of humor than most of the people in class. Apparently we have the same taste, which just made things all around more enjoyable. She's a really nice lady, and I kind of wish I was taking another of her classes because she always makes them fun and interesting. It's not everyday that a teacher will tell you to go sit somewhere outside for 30 minutes writing down your thoughts (and it was when it was still warmer, so the day was BEAUTIFUL!!). As much as I learned and enjoyed, I'M SO GLAD IT'S OVER!!!! So long as I get good grades, I will be graduating in May, and I will finally have a degree after 7 years of college. Now I just have to find a job and start paying back my student loans! Oh the joys we find in life!! :-)
