I am awesome!

Yesterday at work I did some major negotiating. Okay, maybe not major, but it was pretty cool. I negotiated with the VP of Advancement to give the student workers a kind of early Christmas present. Four of us student workers agreed to work for a little over an hour next Tuesday night at the basketball game in exchange for allowing us to leave early, but paying all of us till 5pm. So we essentially got paid for 3 1/2 hours. I got to leave early, and I was able to make it down to West Jordan before the snow got bad!!! Well, it wasn't bad outside of sardine canyon, but the canyon would have been nasty after 5pm. It wasn't that fun at 2pm. So I get to spend five days at my parents, and I get three of my favorite meals: homemade stew, lasagna, and ham (Christmas Eve traditional dinner). I will be bringing home leftovers, and it will be joyous! And I get paid Christmas day (which means it probably won't deposit till the day after), so the days after Christmas could be good (or bad, depending on how you look at it) shopping days. :-)
