All my grades are finally posted, and I got a B, A, A, and A- in my classes! I'm going to graduate in May!!!! I feel like bursting into a song from "My Fair Lady," but I won't. My biggest stress was Latin, I got a B on my capstone paper, so I figured I would pass. I didn't do so hot on my first test, so my grade was riding on me doing better on my second test. I passed, and I don't have to worry about graduating anymore. In May I will graduate with a BA in History, with a minor in the Classics and an emphasis in Latin, and a Museum Studies Certificate. Now that I know I'm going to graduate, I need to update my resume, and start the search for a career! I can't believe I'll soon be done looking for jobs!! That's very exciting, and also nerve-wracking at the same time. Will I be good at what I choose to focus on? Will I get the hang of whatever position I get? Will I stay in Utah? Will I move back to the East Coast? I don't know, and there are so many questions to ask. Oh well, it's just another step into adulthood, and I'm rather excited about it!
For next semester, I'll only be taking 9 credits. Since I'll only be covered by my dad's insurance for about 4 months, I guess they don't care if I'm going to school full-time. This is another awesome piece of news! I'll only be taking classes I want to take (Swimming, Dancing, Voice Lessons, Folklore, and American Military History), and I'll have more time to work at my job to start paying back my student loans before I get out of school. I finally looked online again, and found out my student loans are less than $30,000, and shouldn't be much over that once I get the money for next semester. This will be manageable, and that makes me even more excited.
