Girl's/Chocolate Night

Last night I went to the Chocolate Festival in Logan. It was crazy packed, and I had enough room for more food, but one run through was all I could take! It was busy when I got there just before 7:00pm, and it was even more packed when we left after 8:00pm. Later that night I was driving by at 11:00pm, and the lights were still on and I could see people leaving. I like chocolate, and there was some AMAZING treats there (heaven and earth and milky way brownies, that's all I have to say), but if it wasn't for Mer, her Doe-eyed Nazi, Doe-eyed Nazi's sister and her friend, I doubt I would have gone. But the food was good, and afterwards we went to Subway for something healthier (I could have gone for round two, except the lines were really crazy and I didn't feel like waiting).
Going to Subway was a lot of fun. We got our food and sat around talking for another two hours (it was really loud at the festival, so not a lot of talking was done, unless it was about the food) or so, we left around 10:30 because it was getting late and the place was closing soon. I talked Mer into staying out longer (it's good for her), and we tried to find a theater open. Of course we live in Cache Valley, and all the theater's last showings were at 9:00, which is lame, but it's a small place so I can't say I'm surprised. Luckily Netflix (one of my many love affairs!) came to the rescue and we watched Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. I wasn't sure I would like the movie (I've never really listened to Indie Rock, outside of Plain White T's), but I was pleasantly surprised. Mer liked it because of her crush on the main guy, who was also the main guy on Juno (the teenager, not the lame married guy who couldn't grow up). We finished the movie just before 2am, and decided to make a run to Walmart for necessities (it's not like I get up early on Sundays anyway, so I figured why not?) for Mer and fam, and I didn't get home till almost 4am. Of course I had to my cuddle with my little man Sammy, poor kid is sick and not happy. We visited (which means we sat on a couch and watched/held/fed the kids), and then I decided it was time to go home.
Wouldn't you know it, the upstairs people left their laundry in overnight and had to dry it. At least they were nice enough to wait till after 10am, but that still didn't leave me with much sleep. Surprisingly I'm not that tired or grumpy. I guess a good night will do that to you. Okay, I'm going to hopefully start the reading assignments for class tomorrow.
