Monday Confessional 02/23/09

1. I looked at my storage unit this weekend, and other than big things it's almost empty!! Now I just need to find a truck to use and get it cleaned out before Saturday.

2. Late Friday night I forgot how to use my furnace, which I've been using for several months.

3. Saturday I listened to a lecture on cannibalism in the early peubloan society, and while it was good it wasn't what I expected, and I was a little disappointed.

4. I've realized that now that I live alone, I'm more afraid of the dark than I used to be. It's not so much of being afraid of what goes bump in the night, I just feel more vulnerable (which is silly b/c I live in a basement apartment and in one of the safest towns in nation).

5. I have to do a report for my US Military History Class, and I chose Dewey since I spent most of my summer at the Library of Congress researching the guy. I couldn't remember much, so I had to read his biography again. Guess what? It's still pretty dry.

6. I thought of a good confession yesterday or Saturday, but now I can't remember it

7. I've decided that I will be stuck with a sweet tooth for the rest of my life. I had it under control when I was living in Orem and Provo, but now it's come back with a vengeance (do you think the tooth could be mad at me?!?)

8. I've finally started looking for a job/career, but since I don't know what I want to do, it's hard to know where to look or what to apply for. Luckily there's a career fair next week that I'm planning on going to.

9. I found out when my graduation stuff is, and I'm excited to be done!! I can get my cap and gown at the end of March.

10. Since I'm moving everything out of my storage unit, I've gone through everything to see if I still wanted to keep it. I've been very proud of myself in getting rid of a bunch of stuff, but there are still several more boxes to go through.

11. I've become somewhat addicted to sporcle.com, a game website that's all about remembering, like Name all the U.S. Presidents. It kept me up till 3am on Friday, and till 1am on Saturday. Luckily I was able to keep myself occupied yesterday, and I should be able to do it again today. Wish me luck!
