Job Hunting

Well, the job hunt continues, but I probably haven't been as diligent as I should be. Since the job market has sucked since I graduated in May, I have decided to go to grad school. I've been hemming and hawing about it for long enough, and since I didn't get a job I KNOW I should have gotten, I finally caved. I sent in my transcripts, I've asked for the required letters of recommendation, I've written my Statement of Objectives (had several people look at it, and after the person I've asked to read it is done I'll send that in), and after I mail in my resume, all I need to do is take the GRE. I should be diligent and study every day since I've had a study book for several days now. I don't even have to do fantastic, I just have to get at least 1,000! I should take a practice test to see where I'm at, and go from there. But I have absolutely no motivation to do anything. The job hunt has been so frustrating that I've kind of given up. I know, I know, bad Kandice! Hopefully I'll be able to get my butt in gear this week and start where I need to. Luckily I have until October 1st to get the necessary test score.
For those of you that haven't been updated, I've been thinking about getting my MLS (Master of Library Science) for awhile now. I finally found a program in Utah, through distance education of course, that isn't too disgusting. There is a cohort that starts every even year in January, and the lady that is in charge of it is really nice, and has been very helpful in the process. The program is through Emporia State University, and yes, that school is based in Emporia, Kansas. The cohorts only have about six credits a semester, but once the first year is out of the way, I can start taking classes online. I should finish the degree in under three years, and hopefully after the first year I'll be able to get a job, and hopefully somebody to pay for it. Anyway, wish me luck in studying.
Oh, and I still desperately need a job. So if anybody can get me an in, I'd really appreciate it.
