Post Office Round 3

Well, this will be the final entry for the Post Office. I had an interview on the 10th, and I found out yesterday that I didn't get the job. It's very disappointing to know that after Friday I will be unemployed. At the same time, I didn't look forward to their strict work room rules, nor the hours, so I guess it's for the best. This just reinforces that I need to go back to school. Which reminds me, I need to study for the GRE.
My last day in Logan was August 8, at which point I had taken two or three loads of stuff down to my folks, so when it came to moving day I was able to fit everything in my car and my parent's truck. I had my interview on Monday, and with the scare of unemployment looming in front of me, I asked my supervisors if I could come back to work for a week and a half. They were fine with it, which was awesome! I promised a coworker I would come up for her wedding reception, which was on a Wednesday, so I just stayed up here after that.
For Wednesday night to Sunday night I stayed at Kaylee's house. I've known her since my first winter in Utah, 2002. We've been in and out of touch since then, and she's been gracious enough to let me stay with her. I don't know how her husband and two kids felt about it, especially since I took the oldest's bed.
This week I'm staying with Mer, which has worked out great as well. Her couch is extremely comfortable, and we can entertain each other rather well. She also has two kids that are entertaining. Husband is doing training with the National Guard right now.
I've decided to do a 5k walk on Saturday, which shouldn't be too bad, and registration is Friday night, so I will be leaving Logan late afternoon. It's been a crazy week or so, and I'm actually going to miss Logan. I didn't think I would, but I like the small town feel of it, and how you can get anywhere in the valley in about 10 minutes. I'm not a fan of heavy traffic, and living in West Jordan isn't conducive to that. Oh well, I get to spend time with my family, and save money while I try to get employed and decide my future. Wish me luck!
