School's almost over!

Ever since my class at the end of March, I've felt like the semester was over and I could stop working one. I also learned I learn best in a classroom/lecture setting. This whole reading textbooks as my only source of education, not working so well for me. It takes me awhile to get the reading done, mostly b/c I don't want to do it, and I have a harder time retaining the information even if I write notes.
Luckily I got all my projects done that I've needed to, so far. I have a reflective journal to turn in on Friday for one class, and three posts for the other class. I've gotten everything turned in for my online class. I'm happy that I will only have two classes a semester the rest of my college career. Even though this class wasn't demanding, it was just something else on top of all the other work I had to do.
As a true procrastinator, I didn't begin working on my assignments due last week until . . . well, last week. I had to interview someone who had done a complex search, so I interviewed a friend who is job hunting. It had to be 7 pages, but I only managed about 6 1/4. That's the paper I'm worried about. I also had to do a presentation on an aspect of Interpersonal Communication. My group decided it wanted to learn more about how to make a librarian more approachable. Of course we had to have sources, so it was a little harder to find the information I was looking for. The presentation didn't go as I had originally planned when I agreed to do the topic, but it went well. There were two people in my group who have been working at a library for some time, and the found the presentation to be very informative. That made me feel better, especially when one of them said they would be taking my handout to their supervisor. Yea me!
I was caught up in my readings as of last week in the class I had last weekend, but now I'll have 3 chapters to read by the end of next week. I also have about 14 chapters to read for my other class, the one with the assignment due this Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to set up a reading schedule that I can follow so I won't get so far behind in the future. I'm a little worried about the summer semester b/c we have to get the same amount of work done in about 2 months instead of the 4 months in a normal semester.
I've finally begun looking for a job again, and I signed up for unemployment again too. I should have done that a week or two ago. Oh well. I found three library jobs to apply for, which was nice. Two were at Salt Lake Community College, and one was for the Weber County library system. All are part time, which is what I'm looking for. I'm hoping to get the one in Weber, just because if I manage to get something more permanent, they may pay for half of my tuition, which will be nice when it comes time to having to pay back my loans. My internet/computer has been acting funny, or at least the sites I was visiting. Anyway, wish me luck as I attempt to finish my school work and find a job. Of course, I'll only have about a 2 week break before the next semester starts.
