Best bus drivers

Since I started riding the bus to work every day I've had pretty much the same bus drivers (for about 2 1/2 months). I've been surprised by the friendliness of the drivers, especially since I start riding the bus about 6:00am. I've had interesting conversations, some joking and teasing, and even some chivalrous acts.
Some examples of my bus driver tales. The first bus I ride is driven by an older gentleman. One morning he asked if I knew how to dance and tried to get as much information from me as possible because he was in the youth activities committee and they were going to do an etiquette dinner and dance. He asked me all sorts of questions about proper dance form, about why girls say no to dancing with a guy, how a guy should deal with the girl's response, and the like. This lasted the entire bus ride to my transfer stop.
This same bus driver one day told me to stay in the car and he would come and get me. I didn't remember one day and he told me he would come and get me the next day or he wouldn't let me get on the bus. Of course, with that kind of threat, there was no way I would get out of the car before he came to get me. I wasn't sure if he would do it, but he did. This was when there was still a lot of snow all over the place. On Thursdays and Fridays I get off a half hour early, so I take a different route home than the rest of the week because the route I normally take is on lunch during that time and I have to stand around for an extra 30 minutes. Anyway, I end up riding with the same driver, who gallantly one day "helped" me off the bus because there was so much snow everywhere.
The bus driver for the transfer is a comedian on the weekend. He's a really happy, chatty guy. He's always telling jokes and asking questions. I think he's even facebook friends with some of the regulars.
Yesterday when I was on one of the buses, one of the bus drivers told me I was gorgeous and that I should never use make up. He was an older gentleman, and it was completely out of the blue. I don't think I've had so many compliments paid to me in a long time, and by such a varied group of people.
The reason I bring this stuff up is because it's so nice and refreshing. The weird thing is that the morning drivers are generally more cheerful and friendly than the afternoon drivers, more outgoing too. I found out today that all my bus drivers will be driving different routes starting on Monday. It makes me sad, but at the same time I won't be taking the bus at the same time anymore after next week. I'll be on break hours, so I'll start an hour later, and once school starts up again I'll be going to work at night.
I have to figure out what I'm going to do because I get off work after the buses are on their way in for the night. It may be that I'll have to get a car sooner than I planned.
