The semester is almost over!

The semester is almost over! Yes I know I've already said that, but I'm excited! Everything has been turned in except for two assignments. One should be relatively easy, but it builds on the other assignment, which is to build another website. Thankfully my research class is completely done! I've been pushing off doing the assignment, which I really shouldn't do. Last week I spent most of my free time reading the Stookie Stackhouse series again, and it's finally been posted that the next book comes out in May!!
I finally signed up for classes next semester, which means I didn't sign up for classes until after Thanksgiving. I was able to get into the two face to face classes, but the archiving class I wanted to take was full. I am now on the waiting list in case somebody drops, and I've signed up for a cataloging class. It will be interesting to see how I handle 8 credits.
During the semester I applied for a scholarship through the school, and I haven't heard back yet. 16 other people applied, so I have better odds than normal. Also, the school participates in a program that will allow students to attend the next ALA conference, which is in June at New Orleans! I really really really want to go. It will be a great opportunity, plus I've never been to New Orleans. It will be a great learning experience, and I won't have to pay for travel or room, I even get a stipend for food. I don't know how many people applied to go, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that one too. I don't know which one I would want more, but I think I would choose New Orleans.
I applied for a different position at the library, and I think the interview went well. I should find out whether I got the job by the end of the week. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
