It's officially spring!!

Today is the first day of May, and I refuse to see anymore snow! This is of course out of my hands, but I'm thinking positively about the weather. It helps that the forecast doesn't have the temperature below the 50s this week, in fact I think it's supposed to be in the 60s or higher all week. May is looking to be a fabulous month already.
This is the last week of Spring semester at work, and starting Friday I can start wearing jeans full time!! I'm looking forward to the more casual and relaxed atmosphere! The other great thing about May is that I only have to work one Saturday this month! Yay for holidays and break hours! Next week I'll be done with work before 5pm every day. Because of my schedule, I'll actually have two 3 day weekends! There may be a trip in the planning, but I haven't completely decided yet. I've seen people plan group camping trips, and I felt bad with how much she got stuck with, and how hard it can be to plan stuff.
What other awesome things are happening this month? I think the warmer weather and the work schedule is the main thing. Also being done with a semester and have a break before the next one helps. It's weird to think I've completed 2/3 of my program.
With the warmer weather I'm hoping to start riding my bike more. I'm also hoping to start hiking more, and may be planning hiking events with friends to get in shape and get out more. I have a goal in the back of my head to be fit enough to hike Naomi Peak again and let that stupid mountain know it didn't break me! If you want to know what I'm talking about, check out my old post. But that goal is set for the end of the summer, so I have time to get my hiking legs underneath me.
Oh, I weighed myself on Thursday, and I've lost more weight!! I try to weigh myself at the same time on the same day of the week to get an accurate weight, so I generally do it on Friday since I have the day off, but I had to do it Thursday because I worked all day Friday and had class. In the last 4 months I've lost 16 pounds!! It's exciting to know I'm still losing weight, and I might have to go shopping for slimmer jeans. That's not an unpleasant thought at all. :-) I've already hit my goal weight, but I think I'll be changing my goal weight and try to lose another 5 pounds. Maybe with me being active this summer, it will have a better chance of happening. Also, it will be nice to make sure I've been losing fat and not muscle, so it will be good to build up the muscles.
