Pranks

I am writing a paper for my Folk Material Culture class on pranks, and as such have been doing a lot of research on the history of pranks. Most of the search came up with pranks for April Fool's Day, but I still got a bunch of good stuff. Oh, and the history of April Fool's Day and Halloween: totally awesome!
I sent out a lot of emails and made a request on Facebook for people to send me their stories of pranks they've done or had done to them. I need the stories by Thursday for a presentation I have to do. I need to know what prank was done, who it was done to (friend, coworker, etc.), why it was done, and where you learned the prank. So if you want to contribute, please feel free.
While in my research, I came across an article in the Economist. Mer has always stated that it was one of her passions, and that people give her weird looks for it, but if it has a lot of articles like the ones I just read (obviously on a different topic, but you know what I mean), then I can see why she enjoys it. I still haven't figured out how to do links, so just copy and paste.

If I had something for you, I would send you something. But, I don't, so I won't. Good luck! ~M
